Hell there we have a 2001 Dodge Dakota that is having a hard time shifting from 1st to 2nd.

We took and had a computer hooked up to it and these two codes came up:

1)1762
2)1763

When I looked them up it said that 1762 means governor pressure sensor offset improper voltage and 1763 means governor pressure sensor voltage to high.

Can someone explain to me what that all means and how do we fix the problem?

Take cover off tranmission, there are two selinoids, change both. Install new filter, tranny fluid, and it is fixed.

Once the trannie is at the proper fluid level, brake rev the engine and burn out!

Solenoids is the proper spelling.

Ok I have looked on-line for a schimatic so that my boyfriend and dad can fix his truck but I can't find one anywhere can you guys e-mail me a schimatic so we can fix his truck I would greatly appreciate it thanks.

Then my last question is what should I be looking for when I look for prices on the parts? Is what I need to look for a pressure sensor and a solenoid? Or is it two soenoids and what is the product name of both that we need to get?
