Message: I think they are both gen 1 engines so they should interchange without any problems. If the 92 is a multi-port injection you can still make it work, but you would need to use the 91 intake, and throttle body and sensors. Though I am pretty sure they are the same.
Good Luck

Message: the 91 motor has a diff cam but roller lifters
the swap will work fine with the intake change
the 92 motor has a hotter cam and will run stronger

Message: i thought that the '91 engines had LA-style heads and intake, where the '92 and up engines had magnum-style intake and heads? if this were true, then there would be alot more than just swapping the intake. someone please correct me if i'm wrong.
