hi i have a 2 wheel drive 3.9v6 dakota extended cab. can i get an uprated limited slip diff for it? i just have the standard diff but is there a way to put an optional locker in the truck? thanks mike

Limited Slip and Locker are two different animals. I'm sure you could get either. the Limited Slip was an option for the 8.25" Diff. which I'm sure is what you have.

i just had a rear end go out in my 01 ext cab 3.9L...turns out dwn shifting into 1st at 40 even w a programmer isnt good for the stock diff..i went to the local junk yard and paid 147 dollars for a whole new axle with 3.92's in it and she bolted right up..cnt keep tires on it now :)
