How much diffrence is there between the reg cab 3.9 4x2 and the 4x4? i have the 4x4 and i like it but im wondering how much faster the 4x2 is

4x4 have a lot more weight and the drive shaft (s) still turn even in 2wd mode so their resistance there also

Anyway to disable the other driveshaft turning when not using 4x4? i got mine simply for mud and snow and ice. other then that im in 2wd almost all of the time.
