I have strange dash gauge problem on my 99 Dakota 4X4 3.9. At times (in order) the speedometer will fail, tach. after a few seconds, then all Ga. fall off with the low fuel warning alarm go on. Truck works fine dirrectional and light OK. Shut off the ingnition and restart all well until next day or so.
Note: Have notice that after refueling and gas Ga. is over 1/2 full this problem goes away till it gets to 1/4 or so and starts again.
Thanks for looking and would appreciate any advise.

G4 ground problem
right side remove kick panel remove dash mount
screw and run some sand paper between das and
cab now replace screw this will solve the ground
problem

J&J auto, you guys are the BEST on Dodge Dakota and most likely Mopar as to solving HARD problems that show up after a few years of service on them, I did exactly as you said plus I added a 14Ga. jumper to the right side ground bolt and all is well in a my 99 Dakota 4X4.
Now only if I could get better MPH ane better Shifting on my Trans. It would be sweet
