Message: Rebuilt Dodge, it should be 12 volts, or what ever the battery voltage is, usually its slightly lower than battery voltage though
Good Luck

Message: well i fixed it over a week ago. the wires going ot the pickup in the dist had been eaten off by a rat. and there was another wire that had been ran from under the dahs and spliced into the harness. i swapped out the dist pick wire and the engine bay wiring. and hooked up the one wire from under the dash and the truck started and ran fine. i now need to swap the under dash harness to get away from that single rigged up wire. but it runs as is right now.

Message: try dodgeforum.com. there you can go to the faq section of the
dakota area and find the service manuals electronically. they have
the testing procedures and specs. super useful!
