Subject: leaky heater core IP: Logged
Message: I have a '98 Dakota V6 with over 300k miles on it and I think I have a leaky heater core because I can smell it through the vents whenever I drive.
I want to know what some of you might think about using a 'leak stop' sort of product before I dig into the dash and spend an entire weekend replacing this.
Which leak stop product is the best?
Thanks in advance.

Message: If you go 'leak Stop' , get the Prestone leak stop . It is liquid only, does the job and without leaving a lot of 'junk' residue
like some of the others.
This is a lot easier than trying to pull the dash apart and changing the core..
