Message: Sorry to tell you that a top overhall is needed.
You have to remove the heads and see how much damaged was done. Hopefully the piston heads did not get damaged. Good luck my friend...

Message: Yea they lost the keyway and now I had to buy a new timing chain and new camshaft. The reason i have to replace timing chain again is because they screwed up by not checking to see if keyway was in place, which caused the two chain sprockets to spin out of shape ,they are shot. I know I should have done this my self .,what a waste.

Message: UH, they screwed up.
They should be paying for everything. I would not spend a penny except on a lawyer to take them for ride as they did you.

Message: Just an update I am having to have the whole top of motor repaired, bent valves, and cylender heads have to be redone, thank god my pistons are ok. Just a word of advice find a good shop to replace timiing chain. I wish I would have known before i allowed them to try and repair it. as far as getting a lawyer I am not origianal owner and have been told it would be impossable to prove that the shop caused all this.
Thanks for all your advice
