Man im tired of part swapping on this truck, i wanna get it right. Nobody seems to have the problem i do. p0505. replace iac twice. new intake manifold gasket, pcv valve. map and iat and tps check good. symptoms, rough or no idle intermittent, idles at 1500-2000 intermittent, same symptoms with all vacume lines blocked. 02 sensors read lean. I removed asd relay and jumped cavity 87 and 30, read 12.6 vdc on two of the driver wires at iac connecter. the 4 wires were probed and check good. havent check fuel pressure (dont think its related). im guessing computer but for 400 bucks, i dont wanna guess. I read that the voltage should be less than one volt with the asd relay and 87/30 jumped so whats it mean when it reads higher????

You said "same symptoms with all vacume lines blocked." What do you mean, you blocked all vacuum lines? You can't block them all. You need MAP and PCV vacuum at a minimum. Did you check every inch of them for leaks? Did you put a vacuum gauge on the engine and get a reading? Is your battery fully charged and load-tested? Open circuit voltage is not a good battery test.

Brand new battery, brand new alternator. Battery died when i was over seas, too much muddin killed the alternator, map is connected along and pcv. purge, evap etc is all blocked off. new vacume line for pcv valve, booster line is good. I would disconnect and block off certain parts of the vacume system to elimanate sections. but all symptoms remain, rough/no idle intermittent, high excessive idle intermittent, Runs fine half the time. Have not gauged the vacume or fuel pressure.

so you replaced the IAC twice did you pull the throttle body off and clean the hole out really well it could be gummed up causing the iac to stick in open or closed position
