Subject: A/C pulley question! IP: Logged
Message: So I own a 2002 dodge dakota SXT v6 3.9L and my A/C compressor pulley is making noise and starting to wobble! Obviously needs replacing and I'm having trouble tracking a used one down to get the clutch assembly off of. So w/o going out and spending a $150 on another one, my options are limited!!
Question: Does anyone know the proper belt size to run the v6 3.9L on a 2002 sxt dakota WITH OUT THE A/C????? If so, do i need any bypass pulleys to make it work?
Any help will be greatly appriacted!

Message: You better look that over real well. Sounds more
like Clutches and/or bearings let go.

to replace without having to buy a
wholen new assembly?

Message: Not sure about changing out just the bearing on these Sanden compressors. But if you want a good price on replacement try here: www.discountparts.com
No I do not work for them but I haven't seen any better pricing than them.
