Message: just replaced my CRANKshaft position sensor. few days later, truck died while driving and check engine light came on. started right back up, drove home but the next day it wouldn't start. code reader said it was the CAMshaft position sensor. I couldn't find the sensor anywhere and the auto store said they dont have one for my truck. Going crazy, any advice???

Message: Try another auto parts store because it sounds like the employees wherever you went don't know jack. the CMP(CaMshaft Position) sensor is in the distributor.

Message: I thought the CRANK sensor was that long thing between the bell
housing and block on the passenger side?

Message: You have to ask for the ignition pickup module.
