Our Dakota started sputtering like it wasn't getting gas on the highway. First it started at 75mph than it kept crawling lower until it flat out stalled one day so we took it into a garage. When we got it out they said the truck was running a lot better but not to go over 65ish otherwise it would stall again. They could fix it but the parts and labor were pretty expensive and I'm a day late and a dollar short.

Well we got it back on the road after they said it was okay and.. it's still stalling and sputtering, just like it did before we took it in.
They mentioned that it might be the timing chain? They didn't sound so sure and judging by the amount of time they had with it I'd think they would know more about it. Does that sound right? We were thinking that it might be the full pump or something similar but we really aren't mechanics or anything.
