 Subject: 93 v6 dakota starting issue

I recently picked up a 93 dakota v6. it took forever to start. then one day it wouldnt start at all. i checked spark/fuel/air. have all 3. got to searching saw the asd wire fix, checked that, it was fine. checked all fuses and relays. everything is working. Any idea of what my problem could be??? i am stumped!!!

Find your Top Dead Center (TDC) (it tends to runaway at times...)
Once you found TDC, pop off the distributor cap and check where
the ignition rotor is pointing, rotor should pointing around 8
o'clock. Carefully hold the cap and have a buddy crank the engine
as you watch the rotation of the ignition rotor, it should turn
smoothly without any pauses or skips.

what am i looking to see with this? i know it is in time. it wouldnt have ran before if it wasnt. when it starts, it runs like a new truck.

OK, i checked the CELs and am only getting 12, 55. no other codes. I am literally stumped at all of this now. if figured there would be a CEL of somesort.

OK UPDATE: I got it running. turns out the injectors were sticking!!! i hard wired them Off of the battery so i could complete the ciruit to the injectors then i just off/on them ALOT. they freed up and the truck fired right up.
