1-6-5-4-3-2 and the distributor rotates clockwise. It's also cast into the top of the intake manifold right in front of the TB.

Also you may want to check that everything is where it should be. I don't know your how mechanicly sound you are. My dad accidentaly put the rotor backwards on his 92 blazer and he spent 2 days trying to figure out what was wrong. This is just my suggestion.

Good luck

I think you have your firing order like this:

123456 should be 165432

Jay,

The firing order is still wrong, #1 is closest to the radiator on the right side of the motor as you face it.

Drivers side of engine from front to back is 1,3,5 and passenger side is 2, 4 6.

#1 terminal on distributor is as you are standing in front of truck at 9 o'clock on the cap. Order on cap going clockwise from #1 is 1,6,5,4,3,2. #2 is at the 7 oclock position as looking at the cap while looking from the front of engine.

That's exactly what they do when their out if order.
I recomend you buy a good shop manual for about
25 bucks. It spells everything out in pictures... Everything...
