I got my '00 trans rebuilt($1800), now my fuel mileage sucks. I'm losing about 40 miles per fill-up.
Any ideas??????

What engine do you have... what gear do you have in the rear end...... how fast are you going at 2000 RPM ?

Maybe the TC is not locking up like it should? What's the actual difference in mpg before and after?

I'm losing like 3 mpg. The trans shifts good. feels like the tc is locking up It drops a coulple hundred rpms when locked up.

How many miles since the rebuild?
Did they change the TC?
