 Subject: v8 swap ideas and input

i just bought a 1992 dakota with a v8 and am ready to pull it out. i kept the engine harness and manifolds/y pipe- i remember reading something that these years have a bigger opening for the y pipe for the v6s is this the same for the v8s or should i just spend some on some headers is it worth the moneys. also what else will i need other than new motor mounts. do i have to jump any wires for this swap? should i use the torque converter for the v6 or v8 the one for the v6 is only 20,000 miles old any help would be great thanks for the input... this truck is gonna be sweet next summer thanks
also can i use my v6 mopar pcm and add 5/6 to 7/8 injectors? i remember someone saying they made this work also
