Hey, I'm about to do a full brake job on my 2001 V6 Dakota Club Cab 5.9l and thought to see if anyone has any recommendations, tips or parts/sources for decent components to be warned or recommended.

I don't know, perhaps this is nothing but would think that certain parts are trusted by now for this vehicle. I'm experiencing warped rotor when stopping now so if a particular rotor is better than ....

What would be an est. if I were to buy pretty much everything...any list/sites to check out? I'm in Ontario Canada but live on a border city to the US so no biggie if I go over to pick up my parts!

Huh?

My error...3.9l of course...V6...

Anyhow, read some other posts..heard tirerack.com mentioned for EBC pads and a debate about slotted/solid rotors...I'm thinkin slotted myself.

To add to injury, we had a freak winter rain? This may sound normal but not here...anyhow my truck totally resisted to start for 13 hours, atleast until the temp returned below 0. Obviously a bad wire I'm thinking. I sprayed WD40 on rotor/wires, slight heat from a propane torch (when despair set in because of isolated area and hypothermia was knockin nearby).

Would changing the distributor cap and plug wires be my first choice or should I check harness wiring anywhere first or?
