04 dakota v6 5 spd 4x4 with 80,000 kms beauty of a truck ... looking for more power.. its chiped, k&n intake, bosh plat 4 Plus plugs, magnaflow 3" duals from cat back, 20" d'vinci rims, ranchero rear springs, rear scooped hood. Lots of expencive sterio & visual upgrades, jl audio w7 etc.

Not a whole lot out there for the 3.7. Maybe a ported or larger TB. Maybe cams. Good luck on the quest for power.

yea tell me about it its hard to find anything for it unless u got ur own shop to bore pistions etc... what about putting a v8 into it... the nose is big enough wouldnt it be just a matter of changing out engine mounts?

The 4.7 V8 probably uses the same mounts. Trans ? PCM for sure and harness. Find a donor truck and you shouldn't have any problems.

what you can do is get rid of your 3" magnaflow and replace it with a 2" or 2.5" magnaflow custom kit its more money but you get a deeper throatier sound and in my 3.7 i got 20 more horsepower 5 more then magnaflow said i would

not really i lost about 4 horse power on the low end but the throttle body space and cold air intake takes care of that
