Message: i have a 97 dakota 3.9 liter that has been wrecked and the motor ran perfect so i bought a 98 dakota that the moter was blown up in so i pulled both motors and put the moter from the 97 into the 98 and the wiring harnes from the 98 didnt match up to the motor from the 97 so i removed the wiring harness from the 97 and hooked everything up and the fuel pump and everything works but it will not start if you pour gas down the throttle body it will start and run for a second and die. fuel is coming through the lines into the fuel rail but that is as far as it gets no fuel is passing through the injectors what could it be????
