I have a 99 Dak, 3.9L and the battery just died. Any tips on what type of battery replacement (Make/Cold Cranking Amps)?
Thanks,

Message: Just get a replacement battery of equal or greater CCA than what was in the truck originally. Also make sure you get the correct style and physical size. Brands don't really matter on this to me. My factory battery lasted about 8 yrs.

My factory batt only lasted 3 years
I went to sears and the guy tried to sell me a
small batt listed for replacement but I got the
bigger 1000 cca batt a die hard gould and it has
been in there for 12 years now and is begening to
worrie me but it still starts the truck in the
cold weather
If you live where it gets cold the bigger is
better as long as it fits in the batt box
They do say the optima batt will last twice as
long but they are also twice the price
Go with a brand you trust and are comfortable
with and you prety much get what you pay for
going with the cheapest you can find is not always
the best idea just be sure its the same or more
cca cold cranking amps
