A 92 to 95 needs a 92 to 95 V8 body with EGR. A 96 and up they stopped using the EGR and you need a 96 and up TB for a 96 or newer truck. A 5.2 or 5.9 will work. You have to get a new cable or mod the old TB bracket. I have a manual so I cannot help you on that one.

The body bolts right on cable brackets the same
the only problem you run into is cable style
just get the cable with the body
3 types
bycycle type end
ball stud
disc type
use all your V6 sensors because you know there
good get a new gasket for like a $1 start and stop
motor 3 or 4 times it will than learn its new idle
now 50 miles short term learn 200 miles it will
fully learn and run well low end the same
noticeable above 1600rpm to redline
thats all your done
