Having a problem with my heat/cold setting in my truck. I turn the knob a little towards the red so the ac isn't so cold and it literally goes from cold to warm, there's nothing in between. It's pumping out heat before the knob is even anywhere near the red. So i tried the heat by turning it all the way hot and it's definately hot. But when i turn it gradually back into the cold it's still all hot air. Can't seem to get it cooler unless i turn it completely cold and then click by click into the red till it's where i want it. But even then 5-10 minutes later it's like it moved and it's either too cold or too hot. I replaced the heater control assembly unit, the servo at the heater door seems to work fine. I took it off and watched it turn click by click as i turned the knob. I did notice though that after the knob was turned all the way it continued to run for at least another 15-20 seconds and i tried turning the knob in opposite direction to reverse the servo motor and it wouldn't reverse till it finished out it's cycle, should it do that? shouldn't it alter forward/reverse as soon as you turn either way on the control knob? I also manually turned the door by hand and it moves freely and not hanging up anywhere. would replacing the servo really do anything? Its very annoying, especially in the winter time trying to get a comfortable temp, had the problem last year as well just never took care of it. any help would be great. thanks
