Subject: Quick Question IP: Logged
Message: i was looking at putting in electric fans in my truck. i know i can pretty much use fans off of anything but my real question is wiring. how would i wire them in so they came on at a set temperature instead of putting them on a toggle switch and watching my engine temp all the time.
just wondering if anyone has done it and how.
thanks in advance.

Message: flexolite thermo control direct fluid read
perma cool 3000cfm fan
30 amp relay
run the power wires direct from bat the thermo
switch turns ground on off for the relay
turn fan around and mount with fan about 1" back
from edge of org radiator shroud with sheet metal
mounts do not use the straps they come with there
junk and do not hold up and it works better in
the shroud than direct on rad
the motor can be run in either direction be sure
you wire so it blows it the right direction
towards the motor
All this is right around $150 and will help power
and gas mileage
summitracing.com has it all
