Subject: 3923 spark plug gap? IP: Logged
Message: I was just curious what people recommend when gapping 3923
autolite spark plugs.
CAI,V8 throttle body, dynomax muffler, 19lb bosch injectors,msd
wires, superchips 87 octane tune.

Message: Unless you have a hi-output coil or ignition just gap them at the factory recommended gap of (I think).040".

Message: If it didn't change between 92 and 97 it's .035".

It's okay, gap is same on both.

Message: Well, you could check the underhood sticker. Later I'll check a FSM and post up what I find. the FSM's I have access to ar for '01 & '02 daks.

Message: I cannot believe my eyes. I've searched the FSM and nowhere in there does it say anything about spark plug gap? Of course they've got the specs of what to torque the spark plugs to when you install them but that's it.
