Subject: Fuel pump fiasco IP: Logged

One day running next day not so much.
I'm not getting fuel to the injectors. I have removed pump and with external 12 volts of power it pumps just fine. I will replace filter.
Voltage at the relay gives me 10.88v at pins front and back (f b ) nothing with passenger or driver or middle (P D M).What should voltage be at the relay? Do not have voltage at pump connection. So should all pins have voltage? Relay appears ok when swapped with starter relay. Starter turns over with fuel pump relay. I tried a jumper wire at relay still not pumping. I keep reading about fusable links.
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Message: Check the ASD relay (automatic shut down relay)
The ASD supplies power to the fuel pump.
The fuel pump relay is controlled by the ecm through the same
circuit that the ASD relay is controlled.

Message: Another culprit is that splice in the wiring
harness - about 8 to 10 inches down the harness under the ( underhood ) fuse/relay box .
It may 'look' ok , but best to redo it
- use a good quality "joiner" connector
or solder and tape ..
