The truck is in beautiful physical condition. It's on a consignment lot. Lot owner says truck owner kept it garaged. I can believe it. I started the engine but have not driven it. No obvious problems underneath from a a quick visual.
I have an 87 that I use for work, same longbed, V6, auto trans. It has the heavier payload, which the 98 doesn't have. I have had the 87 since new and know it inside and out. It has about 120K miles and is rough to look at, but runs great. A guy down the street has the exact same configuration and has over 250K miles on his without major work, so I know mine has potential to go a lot further.
The 98 looks sweet and would make a better impression on clients.
