Subject: buying my tb next week IP: Logged
Message: alright after reading all the posts i've decided to get the v-6 to v-8 conversion thats on speedtweaks.net sometime next week. the reason im letting you all know is because i want everyones opinion. the reason for my decision is because thats the cheapest one!!! and it seems as if all gains are about the same. let me know what you guys and girls think, lol.

Message: sorry i cant help you any but i was hoping you could help me. i was wonderin how much a new throttle body would cost me, and if it is easy to install. also i bought my airaid intake today and they guy asked me if i wanted a throttle body spacer. shoul i have gotten one? what will it help. thanks guys

So no, Throttle Body spacers are useless on dodge engines, except for the 4.7, in which it -supposedly- makes minor gains.
Throttle Body's are easy to install, I've had mine off before. There are four bolts holding it to the truck, plus the throttle cable (clips on), two vacuum lines (pull off) and two electrical connections.
