I just purchased a smashed up 1996 dakota with a V8. (318)
I want to swap the 318 with the V6 in my 1992 dakota 4x4
manual trans...2 different style ecm's (obd1-2)....do I pull the
complete wiring harness from the 96 and swap with my V6
harnesses??
I have the wiring diagrams for my 92, and the wiring diagrams
for the V6 and V8 are almost identical.....should this be
sufficient? Or should I pick up wiring diagrams from 1996?
I suck at electronics!!
Would it easier to scrap the ecm and electronics and go with a
nice aluminum 4 barrel intake and carb..... ??
Some advise needed here.......
