Subject: ABS and Brake lights on in dash IP: Logged
Message: I recently replace my front clip for my 1990 Dakota v6. Had to take everything off the fender walls, etc and put back. All is working fine, except the ABS and Brake lights stay on on the Instrument panel. All the fuses look fine. When I start it up they go off like they are supposed to then come back on in a couple seconds. Any Idea's?
Thanks

Message: Check the wiring to the brake system underhood for the brake warning light. You may have disturbed the connection to the sensor.

Message: Thanks, but that is the obvious answer. There are a lot of wires bundeled together. There is one small grey/white wire that looked like it is supposed to go somewhere, but finding that somewhere is not easy. Will have to look more carefully. I was very exausted after pulling the front clip from the junk yard, then taking off mine and putting the new one back on. Not an easy job by yourself considering I am not an auto mechanic kind of person. I go to Jiffy Lube for my oil changes.
