 Subject: 92 will not start after rain

thinking of buying the 92 from a friend for $500. it turns, but will not completely turn over and only after it rains. its the only issue and I am trying to get some feed back on possible reasons. worth the investment?

Yes - get new plug wires, new cap and rotor
and clean the dust/dirt off the coil..
