Subject: Dakota Disc Brakes! HELP ME IP: Logged
Message: My front left disc brakes make a terrible squealing sound, almost like metal against metal when i apply a little more than a normal amount of pressure to them.
i haven't noticed any damage to to the rotor and i just had new brake pads put on. The brakes have done this since i got the truck in February and it's really starting to get annoying

Message: Sounds like they did not grease anything when they changed. Brake grease on the back of the pads, clean and lube the guide pins and slides good and that should work.

Message: Once again as i start to type......BANG! daddio pops up and beats me to it. :( but as usual he's right, my 98 did that and you get one of those little packets of disc brake quiet and rub down the back side of the pad.

Message: Sorry Bucket! Slow day at work and they haven't taken internet access away yet.
