Hi! I have a 1990 Dakota 3.9 automatic that won't work. A white 22 gauge fusible link wire keeps burning out. At first it was intermittent but now as soon as I turn the key to the run position the link pops. Actually, I talked with a auto electric Guy who told me I could replace it with a 20 amp fuse so I did but the fuse just pops one after another. With this fuse popped there is no gas or spark. With fuse in I am getting no juice on ASR #30. Can't see any apparent shorts. I took out all the fuses in the fuse block and it still pops the link on run. Weird stuff! I really need help with this. Any ideas? Thanks!

Found the problem today. The front left cab to frame mount is gone and the cab was pinching a wire against the frame. I only went through about 25 fuses before I figured it out ha ha ha!
