Message: Looks like I might have a small leak near the top of radiator but not sure. Truck over heats, and its not taking water from reservoir. Anyone have a quick inexpensive fix?

Message: Is the cap in the upper radiator hose as the earlier Daks? Are you sure it's not the cap?
A cheap but ill-advised fix is to use some brand of Stop-Leak. I hate that kind of junk though. It's just a band aid for a more serious wound.
Change it if you can and don't forget to at least change the hoses and clamps if you haven't already.

Message: New cap, new stat, doesn't leak at idle or run hot, but as soon as I drive it just down the driveway it will run hot and use up a gallon of water.

Message: Tried the stop leak stuff nothing worked. Its just a steady drip looks like it on the right side of radiator. Funny though when it overheats the leak coming from under the truck is ice cold. Whats that about?
