my abs and brake light have been on for some time now and i have replaced rear speed sensor and changed differential fluid those did not work any other ideas of what it might be?

a blown fuse on the brake lights
The only way to reset this is with a dealer
drb scanner or disconect the batt turn the
key all the way to start hold 1 min shut off
and reconect batt
The ABS will not reset itself its a seporat
computer located on pass side behind kick pannal

Depends on the year. I blew a brake fuse last week while towing, and when I replaced it, the brake light and ABS light went out immediately. That's on a 92 Dakota with rear wheel ABS.

i will have have to try that and see if it works i disconnected the battery after i did it but did not turn the key
