Subject: Passenger floorbaord wet IP: Logged
Message: I have an 01 dakota and it seems that when i run the A/C the passenger floor board gets wet. It is wet all the way to the metal and goes as far back as just behind the passenger seat. This happend last year and I thought is was from me hitting a puddle but it happened today and it has not rained but I was running the A/C. I looked at the vents on the floor board and didn't see any leaks and the vertical part of the carpet is not wet. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Message: Not sure the 01's are the same as the 90's models
but anyway,
Look on the firewall for a drain tube.
(passengers side)
If you find it take and straighten out a coat hanger and carefully run it through the drain tube.
(don't force it in)
9 out of 10 times what you described it's a clogged drain tube
