i have done a lot of mods so far. k/n, throttle body, throttle position sensor, no a/c, under drive pulleys, no clutch fan, mopar pcm, smaller alternator, 180 degree thermo, built trans/shift kit, chevy big block radiator-griffen, hayden trans cooler, shaved down to 3448 pounds, posi 3.55 rear end, boze 18 inch rims and perelli pzero tires. i have tons of power... but it just wants to spin the tires when i get into it? it seems like it isnt just catching and launching, i think i am losing acceleration because of this? i am sure it will be better in the hot summer, but what should i be doing for better traction? it just spins the tires shifting into second also. i remeber a guy said to weld a bolt on the rear end and add some weight- is this a good idea? what else should i do- the truck is lowered by springs in the front and shackles in the back so i would like to keep the ride height i have right now. it just seems like i am losing a lot to the tires just turning with acceleration how do i make this beast grab the concrete.... and and launch...

spray the tire treads with wd40 for 1 hour.... softens the tire ...burn out,,,then let it sit for a sec ,,,then just chip them....neck will snap next....
