I have a '99 V6 auto, with just over 100K on the odometer. I am using oil at a rate of 1qt per month, regardless of miles driven. I do all of my own PM, and I can not find a leak. Also, I have no smoke from the exhaust, and I just easily passed the CA smog test...................WTF???

Is the belly pan gasket a terminal problem, or just a nuisance? If I ignore it, am I asking for trouble?
