Thats the problem im having. Ill be going down the road push the pedal to the floor most of the time it works fine and downshifts into second sometimes it will hit the rev limiter and act like its not in any gear. I have installed a shift kit but the problem wasnt there then and its been atleast 7 months since i installed it.
Things i have replaced have been the battery i had it load tested and it was in need of replacement but it had no affect on the problem im having.

sounds like the solenoids in the trans need replaced!

That would suck if it is the case. I put new ones in with the shift kit install.

sounds like the shuttle valve or the 1-2 valve
hanging up
posible piece of dirt during install of the kit
worked its way in
try a bottle of lube guard red in most cases it
will free up a sticky valve

Thank you Larry so far seems to have done the trick. Its shifting like it did when i first installed it :) Took a couple days to work its magic but so far so good.
