Message: Eclipse makes good stuff, their decks are awesome and some of their subs ROCK, especially the titanium line.
It isn't what I want in mine though, and theres dozens of brands that are just as good and/or better. Eclipses definitely DOES rock though!!
Your box doesn't have to be slanted. Some people tell you that a totally square(or rectangular) box produces standing backwaves that cause cancelation, but don't listen to that (if by some wild chance someone has actually told yo uthat) cuz if they knew as much as they acted, they would know that the range subs play has HUGE wavelengths and unless you have like a 12ft. wide box, you got no problem at all. Don't worry about making it a slanted front unless you want to.

Message: and one last question(for now) should i face the speakers towards the front? i want to but my friend said it may not hit as hard if it is facing right at the bed. is that true or does he not know what hes talking about?
and i have the box made it is slanted a little bit but not a whole lot. i am going to get the carpet crap tommorow to put on it.......and i havent stuck the speakers in yet to see what it sounds like......but i am hoping it will actually hit. =)

Message: Well, if you mean should you have them face toward you or toward your taillights, it won't matter that much cuz bass isn't directional at all, the main thing is make sure if you do it facing the front that the box don't have soemthing right in front of it, leave a lotta open air in front of it, that'll help a lot.
BTW is your bed connected to your cabin in any way(like, a blow-through where you cut out the part under the rear window?)

Message: hey all..
If your doing the blow through like i am face the subs towards the cab,, towards you.. just remeber tho like what was said before.. leave about 2 inches between the cab and your truck.. unless your making the hole the same size as your box front.. unlike me.. my box is about 4 inches wider all around then my hole..
blow throughs are the way to go if you want madd bass with a R/C
