Message: I put a 5.9L TB on two weeks ago. Right now, after 150 miles, I got a check engine light. I checked the codes and alll it said was that I had disconnected the battery. Which I did after puting the TB on to reset the PCM. After the check engine light came on, I reset the PCM again and I am just praying it doesnt come back on. Did this happen to anyone else? Oh, it has been running great! I just hope that it was a one time thing and wont happen again. Any input would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Message: Maybe the ground wire wasn't on tight and became momentarily disconnected after hitting a bump? Seems odd, keep an eye on it. :0)

Message: Well.. it happened again today. 40 Miles after I reset the PCM(the second time) the Check Engine light is back on. i dont really know what to do or what is causing it. Should I try replacing the sensors in the V8 TB with the ones fromo my V6 TB or maybe get some new ones? I have no idea why the light is on, but the TB is the newest mod. Please, I am begging for any ideas. Thanks!

Message: Hmm... maybe...
Where'd you get the TB? From a junkyard? If so, yeah, I'd probally swap the sensors if they'll fit. Also check to see if the IAC motor is clean and functional.
How to Clean the IAC Solenoid: (Liberated from Speedtweaks)
This is recommended at every Tune-Up to prevent excess carbon buildup on the IAC plunger. In some cases, you'll notice a slightly erratic idle quality. This is the first step in taking care of that problem. IAC = Intake Air Control (Solenoid).
Remove the Air Hat from the Throttle Body
Disconnect the sensor harness from the IAC Solenoid (Rear of Throttle Body)
Remove the two Torx-25 Screws
Remove the IAC Solenoid (Be careful not to lose the rubber O-Ring)
Spray some Carb/TB Cleaner in the IAC port on the Throttle Body and let it sit
Spray some Carb/TB Cleaner on the tip of the IAC Solenoid and wipe clean (Do NOT forcefully twist or push the plunger - You will damage the Solenoid. Wipe very gently.)
Spray a little bit more Carb/TB Cleaner in the IAC port on the Throttle Body and wipe clean with a thin/lint-free rag
Reinstall the IAC Solenoid (Make sure you don't lose the rubber gasket on the solenoid)
Reinstall the sensor connector and airhat
Start the engine and let idle for about 1 minute.

Message: the same thing happened to me!!! but bernd told me what to look for. check and see if you have any vaccum caps missing. if you do, you'll see a rather shiny nipple about 3/4" long on either side of the intake manifold. dodge put too large of a cap on a lot of their daks, and the first thing that happened in mine was the cap disappeared. go to the dodge dealership and get the smaller cap, put it on (with the engine off) and reset the PCM before you restart your dak. if you start your dak before you reset, it'll choke your engine out and it'll cut off. Good luck, hope that this is your problem (cuz it's ez and cheap to fix)
Post when you've found the problem.

Message: Are you talking about the small nipple next to the PCV Hose on the intake. The one on the left side was very loose and just came right of with the gentlist touch. Maybe it is getting blown sideways and causing the engine light. I also have some blown valve cover gaskets and maybe a manifold gasket. I will have time to work on it in a week, but not right now. Could there be a vaccum leak from the manifold or the valve cover gaskets? The funny thing is the PCM only throws a 12 code at me which is for disconnecting the battery. I figured if it were the vaccum leaks it would give a code for that. i hope I am wrong though.
