 Subject: cheap lower steering column?

Hi guys,
I live in the uk and own a 2000 3.9 club cab dak. I've had it over 2 years and it's a great truck.
I took it for it's inspection recently and it failed on the lower steering column, one of the joints has far too much play. I've been looking at it and I don't think I can rebuild therefore I need to replace.
Only problem being is that they're over 200 bucks from a dealer and I quite frankly don't have the money. Does anyone know where I might find a cheap column??
