Harland Sharp 1.7 RR's fit w/o mods to the valve covers. Other brands you may need to mod the oil baffles in the v-covers
I have the HS RR's they're a great mod.

Studs 5/16
pedistal is 3/4 .750
22 to 24 foot pounds

just rotate untill the valves are closed and bolt
in let it bleed down for 1/2 hour and start and
they will self adjust

it may miss a little when first started but in a
min or 2 it will be fine

a drop of blue locktight on the studs actualy they
are bolts on the harlands you will need a 1/4
allen head socket

A lot of people claim that the Viper rockers are 1.7 but I have yet to actually measure them. They can be bought individually so I just have to check that out.

Anyhow, if true, they are far cheaper and apparently don't require any mod to the covers,

Check it out.

I have a set of stainless rockers and went with the baffle mod for no other reason than not having to remove the covers again if they start tapping on them. You can also find thicker valve cover gaskets that will give more clearance.
