On the board, most of you go with the JET II chip for the daks. My very good friend workin to make his 96 V8 a fast one says the Mopar chip is better. Can anynone with the experience or maybe just know which is supposedly better? I have a 97 V6 with an intake and flowmaster cat back right now... Bought a 180 t-stat which is going on soon. Thanks!

well, the win goes to JET by default seeing as Mopar doesn't make a PCM for our trucks.

I had a Jet-II on my '97 V6 and it worked really well...as well as several others who are still running them on their V6's. It does show you though that JET "Chips" are a generic performance enhancer.
Give me a few more weeks to do some testing on the custom programmed ASE PCM on my V6 and i'll let ya know all the details.

To whom it may concern, I installed a stage 2 on my truck (94dak5sp) and very pleased with it. I have had it on there for about 2 years.
What I would like to see is something like hypertechs unit where you can program all of your settings ie; fuel,timing,redline, etc. you guys at bernd that are getting to come out with that badass turbo system, why dont you give this a thought.

Mopar doesn't make anything for the 94+ V6's.

I have a Jet II and I didn't see any difference until I did the exhaust and intake. Jet even recommends doing this for that chip. Looking forward to seeing those details on your custom programmed ASE PCM, Bernd. Thanks, Greg
