Message: The crank position sensor is behind the pass side head, just above the bellhousing, just about were the trans dipstick is located. If your asking cause you want to do the CPS mod I think it's well worth it.

Message: The dist pickup is a cam sensor and tells the
injectors when to fire and thats all it does
And turning the dist changes the injector sync not
the timing
On your G3 truck they are hard to get to some
guys even pulled ther inner fender well to do the
mod
It can be done without doing that just takes a
few choice words along the way
