Message: The part is only about $20. I replaced the one on my 2003. Two screws and one plug right under the glove box, took about 5 minutes to swap out. I didn't find it to be a difficult fix on mine.

Message: Same on my 2002. Save a trip and go straight to the dealer, blower resistors are dealer only items.

Message: I forgot to mention, the inner parts of the resistor looked different on the replacement from the dealer. I wondered if they changed the part to make it better?

Message: That's exactly what they did. The new resistor is built with much better and longer lasting parts than the old ones.
