Message: Start by going the the local truck stop, or public scale ( often found at the dump)and getting a beginning weight. go back when your done and re-weigh it.
Fiberglass or carbonfiber hood, fenders, and
bumper, & rollpan to replace the rear bumper.
scrap the back seat & center console.
lite weight seats, remove the carpets
& leave the spare tire at home.Keep no junk in your truck, ditch the toolbox in the bed if you have one.
*Oh and fuel is heavy keep it under a 1/2 tank.
You could really go crazy pull the radio & speakers, fog lights, interior panels etc. It's all the little things that add up.
**Every 100 lbs lost, feels like a 5 hp gain.**
And of course if you are like me,you could lose a few pounds for around the waist.
** AND NO FAT CHICKS** (LOL)
Then try to redistribute the weight you have, like moving the battery to the bed of the truck, or even under the bed.
Lite-n-up 400 lbs and it'll feel like a 20 hp gain.
Have fun and let us know your beginning and ending weights......

Message: i took so much stuff out of my truck it doesnt make any sense!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have nothing under or in the dash! except for a column and instrument cluster. losing weight does make a difference. first get rid of that spare tire and jack. then go buy a roll pan. and all of the assembly tht pulls the spare up into place...
