 Subject: Swaping a V6 for a V8?!?!?!

I have a 1997 dodge dakota V6 4x4 3" lift 33x12.50's... I'm wanting to drop a 318 or 360 in it.. which one sould i go with? what's the pros and cons of each motor? price range of each and what all i would need to complete the swap..

The only thing you need to do is add the #7 & 8
fuel injector wirs to the harnas and use the V8
computer
You may need a vin flash also or it will start
and shut down $75
One other thing is the 318 and V6 either trans
can be used RE with the 360 you will need the
trans setup because they are externaly ballanced
and will shake at idle with the other trans
Or you get a weight set comes with weights and
a template to weld the weights in the right spot
