Subject: no idea engine issues IP: Logged
Message: I'm really confused with this one and there are two parts that I am hoping are related to the same issue.
First While the truck is in park or reverse and i rev the engine it wants to bog out as soon as i hit about 2500 rpm. If it is in Nuetral or drive it runs fine. It acts up moreso though when it is cold out.
Also when I'm driving it has a tendency to hesitate like it missed then backfire. Again this too happens more often in cold weather.
If anyone has any ideas I would greatlly appreciate it.

Message: First - what year is truck ?
Various possibilities including
burnt out spark plugs , coil going bad
splice in harness under the underhood
fuse/relay box
also - poor connections to chassis/ground
and/or battery , or battery getting weak.
