Hi I have a 93 dakota and was wondering if the ford #19 injectors can come from any 5.0? I was just wondering if any one knows?

Larry from J&J auto would be of more help. However I can tell you that 1986 - 1995 5.0 injectors are the same part number. Those years will fit. There are certain years of the Ford 4.6 injectors that will also fit, but I can't remember what yrs exactly. The one thing you want to be sure of is that you get the 4 hole injectors. Some of the 5.0's had 1 hole injectors that are no different then your stock ones.

Ok thank you, just one question does it have to be out of a mustang? There is a ford truck at a junk yard near my house. Im not sure on the year i will check but i belive it has a 5.0 in it would those injectors work as well?

They'll be the same, However there is a good chance they will only be 1 hole injectors. The only way to know is pull one and look, Unless you can see the part # on it.

I went to the junk yard and pulled 8 injectors out of a 91 f250 with the 5.0. they where the right ones but it took a little bit to find them cause there where some engines with single hole. Anyways got them installed and all i can say is WOW!! they made a huge difference in all around performance, throttle response and the idle is so much smother.

i have been looking on ebay and there is many diferent styles. i know i need the 4 hole but i also seen some that were yellow and others were orange and while others were tan? s there one particular one that is desired more?

I'm not sure about the colors, Mine are orange and out of a 4.6 Police car. Maybe different years or manufactuers.

orange and black are the #19
Auto Zone does not list a o-ring kit for the
V6 but you can get a set for the 5.0 mustang
perfict fit
Always use a little oil on the rings
Bosch also has a lime green #19 with a 6 hole
spray pattern, I have alawys wanted to try these
but never got around to doing it posably even
more power and gas mileage
The FMS 4 hole work great in the dodge motors
smother running more power and better gas mileage
They give you better atomization, I run an
aftermarket holley fuel pump at 50 psi once your
pressure drops below 30 psi your gas mileage and
power will drop drasticly
We use the carter master replacement pumps from
auto zone and they all run between 45 to 50 psi
we used to get our pumps from carquest but for
some reason the last few we got from them were
crap going out within 1 week realy frosts the
old nogin

so can i run the factory fuel pump or is this going to be a problem?
i bought the orange type three injectors they were $45 they said these were great upgrades from the stock mustang injector for the 87-93 because of the better spray pattern than the stock yellow design two. i am going to get new wire plugs and i should be on my way?thanks you people know your $hit! and thanks larry- i got two of these trucks and mods on top of mods- am the shop forman at a custom van shop in detroit, michigan.

The stock pump will work fine
I am just a nut who tries to get every drop of
power out of a motor
The diff colors are diff pressure
On the Daks
92 to 99 #19
00 and up #21
