 Subject: 90 Dakota distributor cap problem

I replaced my dist cap and plugs and i didnt do one at a time, i think i messed up the firing order, now i dont know if its correct. I tried to start and it tries to start then there is a loud bang? i have a feeling that is bad. I tried calling a couple people that worked for a Dodge dealership and they wont help. Any suggestions?
